- Manually operated shutters: 18” – 144” wide by up to 120” tall (max size of 170 united inches)
- Electrically operated shutters: 24” – 168” wide up to 120” tall (max size of 260 united inches).
No Shutter Can Exceed 120” Shutter Curtain Height. Shutters Over 120” Wide May Require Storm Bars, See Options.
Standard Structural Features
- Slat: Material is made of .017 thick aluminum alloy with foam injected into the slat to add to structural composition as well as insulation qualities against sun, cold and noise.
- Housing: A two piece box constructed out .040 thick aluminum alloy. There is a detachable front cover for easy access should maintenance be necessary.
- Guide Rails: Constructed of .070 thick aluminum alloy custom sized to meet your needs.
- Axle: Commonly referred to as the “roller tube”. Constructed of T6 aluminum with a wall thickness of .100 or a special steel formed tubing, the strongest made for shutters. This axle is used in both manual and electric shutters and the axle is warranted for life. Patent Pending.
- Axle Bearings: Made of metal not plastic. All bearings have a lifetime warranty.
- Colors: There are (5) standard colors available. (20) Optional colors are available.
Shutter Housing Box Sizes
The size of the box that houses a rolling shutter is determined by the “length” of the shutter. This housing box will be mounted above your opening so consider the space required.
- 60” or less – 6.5” box
- 102” or less – 8” box
- 120” or less – 10” box
Shutter Control Choices
Eco Advantage's Rolling Shutters can be controlled as shown below:
- Under 170 united inches – manually operated, wall mounted, crank box
- Over 170 united inches – electric controls required due to weight
Optional remote control or key switch activation are also available to control the shutters.
